Motion Motion Festival was so much fun, and Nantes is such a beautiful city. I had a great time speaking and sharing my work and discovering the work of other amazing animators as well.

It was such an honor to speak at another Smashing conference this time in Freiburg, Germany. It’s run by a great team and had an incredible line of speakers. Thank you for having me again Smashing Team!

I had the pleasure of speaking again at btconf 2022 in Berlin after a long break due to covid, the conference was back, it’s one of my favorites and in fact after the Berlin one, I’ve now spoken at all their three editions in Germany; Munich, Düsseldorf and now Berlin.

I started 2021 with giving an online talk at my University in Malaysia talking about the adventure in the animation world that I embarked on, how it all started and how Industrial design intersects with the stop motion animation world in its various departments whether it’s puppet making, armature design, rigging, set fabrication or props making.
I was super happy to take part of Tess Martin’s Manifest: Animation Show and Tell, we talked all about my favorite stop motion short film ‘Stems’ by Ainslie Henderson. The video of the event can be seen here, and links to films we were looking at are in the video description!

I had the honor of speaking at Smashing Conference New york this year. Love the smashing team and their attention to every little detail to make it such an incredible event. It was very interesting this time to meet animators or artists who have shifted careers to web design or development.
