During January I made a guessing game where I asked people to guess how many parts are inside each product that I announced earlier, they got to see me make a completely wrong guess as well haha, then take it apart piece by piece, show closeups of interesting parts, magically put it back together and announce the real right guess at the end. I took apart four products, all were products I’d commonly find thrown away in a scrap market here in Cairo; a walkman, hairdryer, old mobile and a film camera.

It was super fun and so happy to see people’s guesses improving week after week. Even though we’ve used these products countless of times, and on a daily basis, we have no clue what’s inside them. The way I see it, this makes it easier for us to throw things away when we treat it as one whole body, one thing, and not 200 things.
